The citric coating bites first, then a firm jelly chew delivers concentrated green apple — crisp and tart rather than candy-sweet. They're firmer than most US sweets, with a cleaner, sharper sour than Sour Patch Kids. Starch-based with no gelatine, so they're fully vegan, and the green comes from spirulina and apple concentrate rather than artificial colours
