See's Candies has launched Pink Bordeaux, a limited-edition version of its white chocolate Bordeaux, for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The piece has a brown sugar buttercream center, a white chocolate coating and pink sprinkles colored with vegetable juice.
It is sold exclusively in a co-branded See's x Susan G. Komen Pink Ribbon Box, which has a ribbon-shaped window showing the candy inside. The collaboration launched October 1.
Proceeds from box sales do not go directly to Komen. See's made a $25,000 contribution to the organization and is taking optional customer donations in shops and at sees.com through October, with 100% going to Komen. The campaign's goal is $105,000, marking the brand's 105th anniversary.
