The 3-Tier Elevation Rule

Guest Reach & Forearm Clearance Guidelines

- Utensil Clearance: Ensure each jar mouth has at least 10 inches of overhead clearance from surrounding vessels so guests don't bang scoops against adjacent lids.
- Dual-Sided Flow for 150+ Guests: If your guest count exceeds 150, pull the 8-foot table 4 feet away from the wall. Mirror the jar layout on both sides to allow two parallel guest lines simultaneously.
